Common supplements – Carnitine 06

Carnitine 06
#Carnitine is a dipeptide made from the essential amino acids #lysine and #methionine and as a result is considered a conditionally essential amino acid!

Carnitine plays a role in #energy production and transports long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria so they can be oxidised (burned) to produce ATP (energy)!

#Good sources include animal products such as meat, fish and milk!

Commonly considered as a “fat burner” however research is conflicting on the subject! With regards to #performance, Carnitine has been associated with increased #endurance!

Feel free to DM me on Facebook or Instagram (just search Damon Artiss) or email me at damon.artiss@gmail.com for any training help or advice!

Again feel free to leave a comment with any questions you may have and I’ll be sure to answer in the comments or create a blog post answering your questions!

Best wishes,
