#Glutamine is the most abundant (over 60%) conditionally essential amino acid found in your body (meaning not essential except in times of illness and mental/physical stress such as training). It is produced in the muscles and distributed to organs that need it!
As a result the demand for glutamine increases with #training. It can be found in high levels in whey and casein protein and also in dietary meats and eggs.
Glutamine is a very effective #immune system health compound as these cells prefer glutamine as fuel over glucose and also has been associated with #promoting glucose uptake and #reducing acid build up after exercise aiding #recovery!
